Nathaniel Lester Teston, 76, of Rt. 4, Jesup, died Thursday, Jan. 4, at his residence after a short illness. The Wayne County native was a retired timber worker.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Maudie Westberry Teston of Jesup; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Johns and Mrs. Pearl Harrison, both of Jesup, and Mrs. Eunice Narramore of Jasper, Alabama; two sons, L. C. Teston of Jesup and W. E. Teston of Augusta; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Warren and Mrs. Mary Harrison, both of Jesup; 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, from the Red Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Chavis and Rev. Doyle Deal officiating. Internment was in the Church Cemetery. Rhinehart and sons Funeral Home was in charge. Active pallbearers were grandsons: Wade Teston, Douglas Teston, Michael Teston, Jeff Teston, Herman Teston and Tony Johns.
