JESUP — William Grover “Bud” Moreland, 78, died Aug. 24 at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Wayne County and was a longtime resident of Miami. He retired from Batch Air Inc. of Miami as a test cell operator and was an Army veteran of World War II.
SURVIVORS: his wife, Estelle Westberry Moreland of Jesup; a daughter, Vicki Landon of Jesup; a son, Ben Moreland of Cooper City, Fla.; a sister, Naomi Trout of Hawthorne, Fla.; five brothers, Ernest Moreland of Colonels Island, Harold Moreland of Richmond, Va., Albert Moreland of Glenwood, Fla., Billy Moreland of Clearwater, Fla., and Earl M. Moreland of Gainesville, Fla.; three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
