BAXLEY, GA., Oct. 6—Andrew C. Westberry, Sr, 71, died at his home in Baxley Saturday after a short illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Smith Westberry of Baxley; seven daughters, Mrs Cecil Boatright, Mrs. John L. Boatright, Miss Mary Lee Westberry, all of Baxley, Mrs. Edsel Harris of Bartow, Fla., Mrs. A. J. Gribble of Vero Beach, Fla., Mrs. Eugene Crummey and Mrs R. E. Hornsby, both of Macon; two sons, Andrew C. Westberry, Jr and Clinton Westberry, both of Baxley; 27 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ronnie Westberry of Baxley.
Funeral services will be held at the Memorial Free Will Baptist Church at 3 p. m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Arthur Walton, assisted by the Rev. John Lewis. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Clifton Crosby, Grady Crummey, M. Branch, Vance Crozier, Edsel Lewis and Carl Deen, Dr. T. J. Barnes, Sr., Dr. M. E. Long, Johnny Dykes and Junior Davis.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Emma Westberry, 70, who died Thursday in Bacon County Hospital after a long illness, were held Saturday at 4 p. m. at Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. Internment was in the Church Cemetery.
She was a member of the Zion Church of God.
Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Florean Boatright, Mrs. Anna harris, Mrs. Dora Murphy, Mrs. Mary Lee Williamson of Baxley, Mrs. Mildred Boatright of Alma and Mrs. Delores Gribble of Fort Pierce, Florida; two sons, Andrew Westberry of Fitzgerald and Clinton Westberry of Baxley; 35 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Final Rites Held For John L. Boatright
Funeral services for John L. Boatright, 58, were held Saturday at Satilla baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery.
He was a native of Appling County and had lived in Bacon County since 1961. He was a veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Westberry Boatright of Alma; three sons, John L. Boatright, Jr, Joe and Wallace Boatright of Alma; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Carter of Brunswick, Mrs. Carlton Medders of Alma and Mrs. Hal Brock of Hilton Head Island, S. C.; and 10 grandchildren.

William Hornsby, 50, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2004 in Charlotte, North Carolina after a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Appling County, and was the owner and operator of Appling Cabinet Works. Hornsby was born Dec. 7, 1953 to the late Eddie Hornsby and the late Dora Westberry Hornsby White.
He is survived by two sisters, Iveylene H. (Eddie) Wynn of Baxley and Martha H. (Gene) Wellborn of Fort Valley; one brother, Raymond Chuck, Sr. (Peggy) Theus of Baxley; special friend, Melanie Stephens Williamson; three nieces, April (Andrew) Hendrix, Kellie Moseley and Karla Moseley Joyner; three nephews, Chuck Theus, Jr., Corey Theus, Chad (Kim) Wynn; several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. James Medders officiating and Eulogy given by Janet Nail. Interment followed in Omega Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Branch, Tommy Lawrence, Richie Williams, Terry Baxley, Sean Health, Dale Stephens, James Bryant and Victor Martin Hernandez.
Musical selections were rendered by Floyd Hunter and David Williams.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.

John L. Boatright, Jr., age 58, of Alma died early Friday afternoon, June 20, 2003 in Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after a short illness. A native of Bacon County, he was the son of the late John L. Boatright, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred Westberry Boatright of Alma; fiance, Joan Morgan of Alma; two sons, John Mark Boatright and wife Vickie of Alma, Michael Boatright and wife Lisa of Brunswick; one daughter, Crystal Taylor of Nicholls; two brothers, Joe Boatright and wife Jeannie and Wallace Boatright and wife Nancy, all of Alma; three sisters, Sue Carter of Brunswick, Martha Medders and Johnnie Mae Brock, both of Alma. Seven grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, June 23 at New Vision Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Pet Hayes, Rev. R.B. Gaskins and Rev. Mark Barth officiating. Interment followed in Satilla Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers included Roger Varnadore, Don Varnadore, Dwight Sellers, Randy and Stevie Altman, Lafette Crosby, and Roy Parker.
Honorary pallbearers were employees of Emory University Hospital and also all those in attendance.
