MRS. WESTBERRY
JESUP–Mrs. Ernie Ray Westberry, 66, mother of Mrs. Linda Strickland of Waycross, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup after a long illness.
Funeral is today at 4 p.m. at Little Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup.
She is also survived by her husband, Verdon Westberry, Jesup; a son, John Silva, Twin City; two sisters, Mrs. Ione Carter and Mrs. Claudine Crosby, both of Jesup; four grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Ernie is buried at Little Creek beside her first husband, John Silva. Her stone reads “Ernie H. Silva Westberry”, July 11, 1917-July 10, 1984.
