She was born April 1860 in Georgia. He married (2) EVA VICTORIA JOHNS July 10, 1906 in Wayne Co, Georgia, daughter of LITTLEBERRY JOHNS and SARAH DRAWDY. She was born October 08, 1876 in Odum, Wayne Co, Georgia, and died June 10, 1943 in Wayne Co, Georgia.

Josiah and Joseph are the same person.
Josiah shows in the 1860 census as being 6 years old and is shown as Joseph in the 1870 census as being 15 years old.

His death certificate lists his father as Furman Westberry and mother as Lucy Bennett. The informant was his son, John Brantley Westberry. Buried at Piney Grove Cemetery, Wayne County, Georgia.

Joseph reputedly had him a “spare” family in Florida, location and names unknown to me. Supposedly he visted them about once a year. Perhaps some of the Westberrys that we cannot trace are his offspring.

Last Rites Held For Mrs. Westberry – Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Westberry, 65, of Odum, who passed away recently at the home of her son, John H. Westberry of Odum, were conducted Thursday afternoon at the graveside in Bennett Cemetery. Rev. H. C. Griffin officiated. Mrs. Westberry was a native of Wayne County. Survivors include her husband; two sons, H. E. Westberry and John Westberry, both of Odum; one daughter, Mrs. Bud Wilson, Jesup. Harrison Funeral Home was in charge.
