WESTBERRY
So far, we have identified three unknown Westberry pictures that have been posted.

We need help on William Henry. It shows on his DC that he was born in Echols Co, Georgia on October 27, 1866.
Echols and the surrounds were Jarod and Moses Jr territory at that time.
There is no record of them having this person in their families.
He had been married previously, about 1887, to marrying Mamie Murray.
William Henry could also have been a baseborn son of Lavina Westberry, daughter of Jarod.
She did have two baseborns and the article that describes her demise does state;
” a woman whose character was not suppose to be beyond reproach”.
Thoughts only: The only person in my database that he could be is Henry Westberry, son of Charlton.
It was rumored that Charlton’s wife, Martha, headed to that area (Florida-Echols on the border) and hooking up with a Padgett.
Or, did Charlton head that way with her and have this kid? Florida was somewhat of a sanctuary for deserters.
( I do not believe that Charlton died on the day he deserted, but did die before 1869)

WILLIAM HENRY WESTBERRY was born October 27, 1866 in Echols Co, Georgia, and died November 25, 1960 in Lake City, Columbia Co, Florida. He married MAMIE MURRAY, daughter of LEWIS MURRAY and TEXAS NEWBERN. She was born Abt. 1896, and died December 01, 1920 in Sanderson, Baker Co, Florida.
